Immaturity….
then what is the real MATURITY.. when are we considered immature.. when are we matured enough to face life’s challenges..
THOUGHTS on MATURITY:
Maturity signifies the acceptance of one’s responsibilities of the outcomes, effects and consequences of one’s decisions, undertakings and particular acts.
What is immaturity? It is blaming other people for one’s mistakes and short comings, justfying wrong actions by past and resolved issues, dwelling on past mistakes to make/ cover up for people present mishaps, passing the burden of one’s decision to another person.
Maturity is standing for what you believe in dignity and moral fiber. If you did wrong, own it. Be ashamed of it and if you need to ask for retribution, do it.
Immature people often pass the burden to others so that they may be pitied, appear underdog and get away with what they did.
Maturity is not about empathy or pity.. it is the dignity and fundamentality of owning one’s action, beliefs, values and learning to accept ones mistakes and moving on to be a better, wiser and kinder person.
Honey… I am sorry if I was so immature and keep on bringing up the past.. dwelling on it and cease believing that we can still survive this.
